Rare Vtg Philips Relatiegeschenk Wooden Cigarettes Music Box Jolly Good Fellow

This is a promotional gift from Philips in the early 1950s, for its customers and possibly also employees, so it is fairly rare. It is a music box/ cigarette box that can be wound up using a mechanism in order to play the tune "You are a jolly good fellow" while at the same time the cigarettes emerge from the radio. By pressing the right button on the front the music box starts playing and the presentation part comes up with cigarettes. The lid closes automatically when the tune is over. The mechanism can be wind up by the rotary knob on the back. Width x Depth x Height = 15 x 8 x 10 cm. There appears to be some damage as the top door pieces are pretty loose.

There is also some staining and wear in a few spots. This item is very rare and not much has been found about it but it seems to work with a little bit of help.
