RARE RED Large Vintage Card Case Brass Clasp German Bauhaus Deco Beautiful

RARE RED DECO ERA CARD OR CIGARETTE CASE. RED BLACK AND BRASS CLASP!

If you LOVE It; make a reasonable offer on it. Exquisite and likely either German or Austrian Thin Vintage Bauhaus / Deco Mid Century Cigarette Holder with German Coat of Arms Eagle Clasp. Has hinged lid once opened.

Clasp and hinge are both in great working condition. Very large cigarette holder for the period piece. Enamel Red, Black, Brass/Gold Clasp with Beige interior colors.

Measures: 6.5 Inches Long, 3 inches wide and about. Beautiful and Rare and hard to find Red/Black combo. You would look a long time to find antoher like this one and especially in the great conditoin of this one. Really great condition; does have light surface scratches from moving on and off shelving likely for dusting. The Back has a very slight indention at the bottom and approximately.

Does not take away from the item. This item is very likely Mid Century. I would say 1940's to 1950's Era based upon other items simiar to the times.

Has the Gold German Kings coat of Arms on the front Clasp. The symbol of German statehood with the richest traditions is the eagle.

Its origins can be traced back to the early years of the Holy Roman Empire. It featured on the King's coat of arms and almost all the Imperial princes bore the eagle on their escutcheons as a way of displaying their status as vassals of the King. All items while in my possession come from and extremely clean environment.
