La Pierre Sterling Silver Cigarette Cigar Box Humidor 6 X 3 1945 Vintage

A gorgeous Sterling Silver Cigarette or Cigar box by LA Pierre (NY). Features attractive linear ribbed pattern top with cartouch and DSS monogram.

The interior has a gold wash top and cedar lined bottom. The box is inscribed with signatures on three sides and the date Dec. The names inscribed are Van Lee, Asa Shioeriel, Henry B. The box is in good vintage condition with light surface scratches and tarnish, the interior is clean, the hinge is working smoothly - see photos. It measures approx: 6"l x 3"w x 1.25h, total weighs approx. Stamped on the back with the scripted L for La Pierre, STERLING, 252. A terrifice piece for the collector!
