CPLA Vintage 1950's Metal Portable Cigarette Case / Box

Up for sale is a. On the inner side, including on the lid there are marks CPLA® and 5 (in circle). It looks like this case is a silver plated, but I haven't found any marks regarding this matter. This item is with our family from the 1950's, but I cannot say where and when exactly it was manufactured. It is rectangular with sharp edges, top and bottom has an abstract pattern that looks more like a design in order to prevent from slipping out of the hand. 9 x 7 x 1.5 cm / 3.54 x 2.75 x 0.59 inches. W/o a package: 143 gr.

In Good vintage condition, minor usual wear like few light scratches on the bottom, also it wasn't cleaned or polished and offered for sale AS-IS (please see pics).
