Antique FABERGÉ Tsar's Award Silver Enamel Cigarette Casel-Prince Oldenburgsky. Heavy silver&enamel cigarette case c1894 in original presentation box.

This unique cigarette case has a significant historical value-it has been awarded by Tsar Nicholas II to. General-Aide-de-Camp Prince Alexander Petrovich Oldenburgsky. He was the commander of the Imperial Preobrajensky Regiment. The case comes from his family estate.

The case was made by FABERGÉ. Hallmarked with his initials hallmark AC in Cyrillic. And with 84 silver hallmark and with the assay office hallmark with the year 1894 The case has a separate match stick vesta compartment and original silk wick. When you light a match stick-you light the end of the silk wick whihc is under the silver cap and this way you use the entire case as a lighter.

The wick burns very slow and is wind proof. The case is decorated with the enamel personal monogram cypher OP in Cyrillic of Prince Oldenburgsky beneath the crown. Miniature of the Imperial Orders of St. Andrew The First Called and with the Monomakh's Cap-the symbol of the Royal Dynasty.
